Outstanding taste and value! For about $8 I got 2 empanadas, rice, beans, and small soda. I expected appetizer-size empanadas, but these were large, delicious, and filling. One of the friends I came with tried the lengua (tongue) tacos, and enjoyed them as well.
Coming from the west coast, I find this town lacks good Mexican food. I just had the best burritto (hands down) I've ever had being here for 1.7 years. Don't waste your money at La plaza, Taco Hell, or Chipotle. This is where you go. Ty to the staff and tip my hat to the cook!
I am blessed to work so near to Lupita's. For about $10 I can get an amazing lunch (today it was a gordita, a side of beans, and a small drink). The portion sizes are great and the food is delicious. They have a small salsa bar in the dining room that you can help yourself to. The space is casual; the food is served on paper plates on cafeteria trays. Service is friendly and quick. I am looking forward to many more meals.
Best authentic Mexican food near state college. The staff are always polite and the food is amazing. They have a few locations and they are all great. I love to bring family and friends here when they visit; I have never been disappointed!
The amazing food here really comes in clutch when I miss the food I had while living in Mexico. Also, they are really sweet, and they helped me find my wallet after I had accidentally left it there. I'm so appreciative :) ¡Mil gracias por todo!
Best Mexican food in PA. PERIOD. You can't go wrong with anything there, but I loved the carnita (pork) tacos, and if pork isn't for you, the quesabirria tacos with the consume (even though they cost extra) was amazing. They also have a large selection of sauces to make your tacos as spicy as you want.
Great food! Prices are a tad high for what you get. 3 quite small tacos and a soda for about $11. Super tasty though! This dine in location has a much better ambiance than the gas station version of this restaurant too
"Authentic" is right. I never thought I would find authentic Mexican in central PA. This place is unassuming from the outside, but the food is so good! I had a tamale and empanada. My friend had the mole.
The food here is authentic, delicious, and well priced. I recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican food!
